Teddy Pendergrass II, son of the soultry singer, Teddy Pendergrass confirms that his father died Wednesday at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Pendergrass' son stated that his father had a “a difficult recovery' after under going colon cancer surgery in the Spring of 2009.
Pendergrass had been paralyzed after a car accident in the early 80s.
Pendergrass' hits included, "Love TKO," "Turn Off The Lights," "Two Hearts," "Close The Door" and "You're My Latest, My Greatest Inspiration" just to name a few.
Pendergrass was 59.
