CULT MOVIE:EASY RIDER(1969)

Probably the most famous stoner movie of all time-- even the rock soundtrack is awash with references to joints and getting high. Two bikers ride through the American West in search of freedom, meeting a raft of oddball characters along the way and finding little to celebrate in the American Dream. Drugs  feature throughout, with an inspired acid trip scene wich also features Toni Basil, later a perky pop one-hit wonder with Mickey. The cinematography is absolutely stunning and the performances are superb, and even if the film feels a little dated now, it is still well worth seeing and trying to appreciate just how radical it was in its time.
